About the Event
Rod Wartman's bio.
Rod started singing in the 1950’s at 8 years old, as a mezzo soprano,. He was the soloist for his church and became a member of the All Scarborough Boys’ Choir. He performed as a street urchin with the Mendelssohn Choir. He became a Tenor at 13, then discovered girls, and fast cars, putting his musical future on hold. In 2002 he bought a guitar on a whim and took to singing in retirement homes and garden parties. This is his first performance at a coffee house.
